  a Saturday about 6 when it was starting to get busy -- Calamari was quick to arrive as appetizer as was the soup of the day, a potato leek bacon. the calamari was fine and we demolished the ample portion. The soup had a smokey flavor that was a little odd, but I came to enjoy it. Mains were slow to arrive though... mine, the sausage pepper and onion on a long was great and worth a wait. the others not so much. great beer selection. Ill go back if and when on rt 50...

  The food and service were both good however it took forever to get our dinner. The restaurant was clean and the server was very helpful.

  Their cole slaw was awesome! Scallops had an off flavor to them that I can't place. Almost like a drop of turpentine was in the liquid. Hubby's shrimp was good and after I doused the scallops in his butter sauce they were better - hopefully they stay down. Also, bring a fly swatter. :(
